Infants with GERD

Friday October 23, 2009

A recent message I read was from a mother who was desperately looking for relief for her 5 month old baby who had been diagnosed with GERD. She talked about the cost of medications, then went on to say, "I was wanting anyone who has suggestions on how to soothe his symptoms..."

With the numbers of adults being diagnosed with GERD, especially in older adults, it may be easy to forget that GERD is also diagnosed in children, and even infants. In fact, my grandson was diagnosed with he was 5 months old.

Do you have an infant or child who has been diagnosed with GERD? Please share your tips for this mother by either clicking on the Comments link below this post, or by going to the Heartburn forum post.
