From the article: What is Heartburn?
Some people are willing to make modifications in their lifestyle in order to get relief from heartburn, while others would rather take antacids or prescription medications daily than give up their favorite foods. There are some people who are hesitant to take any medication, and would rather have some discomfort than be on medication every day. For others, the cost of treatment is a big consideration. How did you decide on what sort of treatment you were going to pursue? Share your story

Heartburn

I'd heartburn since several years.I used to take various doctor's prescribes medicines, yet my night time heartburn still there. At this time , I stopped everything and started to take aurvedic medicine that contains all natural / herbal roots -Satpatri- that I'm taking every morning before breakfast and so far it works during daytime heartburn. At night time I 'm still getting night heartburn because my Les ( valve) is loose. Anyway this is my story .

I did everything for my son's heartburn!

I am a mother of a 10-year old boy Lawrence William Salvador Mayuga. My son was diagnosed with GERD (with severe heartburn) when he was 6, which caused me to change my whole family's lifestyle. We gave him omeprazole tablets from 2006 to 2009 and shifted to esomeprazole tablets which we thought would give a stronger relief. April 2010 my son underwent Hiatal Hernia surgery. Now heartburn is ALMOST gone.
