Heartburn-friendly vegetarian recipe.

Ingredients:
- Nonstick vegetable cooking spray
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 4 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 tbsp white cooking wine
- 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups 1% milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1/2 tsp tarragon
- 6 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 (15 oz) can garbanzo beans, drained
- 8 oz penne pasta
Preparation:
- Cook penne pasta according to package directions without salt or fat
- Over a medium-high heat, in a large skillet sprayed with nonstick vegetable cooking spray, add olive oil
- Cook 1 minute
- Add sliced mushrooms
- Cook 3 to 4 minutes until mushrooms are tender
- Add white cooking wine and stir
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch into the milk and then add to the skillet
- Add salt, basil, tarragon, Parmesan cheese and garbanzo beans.
- Cook mixture, stirring occasionally, 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens
- Add cooked penne pasta and heat through
