Cole Slaw

Cole slaw is a favorite side dish with any meal, and with the low-fat or fat-free ingredients such as milk, sour cream, and mayonnaise, you won't have to worry about heartburn that other cole slaw recipes may cause.

Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp skim milk
  • 1 tbsp fat-free or low-fat mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp fat-free or low-fat sour cream
  • 2 tbsp low-fat buttermilk
  • 3/4 tbsp white vinegar
  • 4 cups finely chopped or shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
Preparation:
  • Blend together sugar, salt, skim milk, mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, and vinegar in a large mixing bowl
  • Add cabbage and carrots, and blend until well mixed
  • Cover and refrigerate until served
