Ingredients:
- 1 pound fish fillets
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon oil
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Place fish fillets in a bowl, and sprinkle with salt, turmeric, cumin and black pepper, tossing to coat well
- Cover and marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature or 40 minutes in the refrigerator
- Coat the bottom of a baking dish with the oil
- Place the fish in a single layer in the baking dish
- Pour the marinade over the fish
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes to 25 minutes, or until the fish is firm to the touch. Fish is done when it easily flakes with a fork
- Serve hot
