Regis Philbin has reported that he has been suffering from acid reflux-type stomach problems, and is going to have a "scope" procedure to see what is going on. He has even asked Dr. Oz what he need to do for his heartburn symptoms.
During his show yesterday, he needed a glass of water. When Kelly Ripa asked him if he was ok, Philbin answered, "I've got the indigestion problem. It's more than indigestion. I just decided yesterday to go in for a ... scope."
Millions of people suffer from heartburn each year. For some individuals, they only experience heartburn occasionally (once a month or less). For others, their heartburn is frequent, occurring two or more times a week. For them, it may be something more serious, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease.
