Was It the Food, or Was it How You Ate It?
It is true that for many people certain foods will trigger their heartburn, no matter when they eat it, or how little of it they eat. For others, however, it may not be the food itself that's causing the heartburn, but when and how they eat.
For some people, they can trace their heartburn to eating too much food, especially if it's too much fatty or spicy foods. If they eat less of this foods at a time, they don't experience heartburn. For others, if they eat too close to bedtime, no matter what the food is, they'll experience heartburn. And then there are those individuals who will experience heartburn whenever they eat a particular food, no matter how little of it they eat, or when they eat it.
