Poll: What is Your Biggest Heartburn Trigger?

Sunday May 11, 2008
As stated in the post below, it has been suggested that changes in our diets will have no affect on whether we suffer from heartburn or not. Researches go on to suggest that what really causes heartburn is the position we sleep in at night or if we're overweight.

What causes your heartburn? Do you sleep with your sleep elevated but still suffer from heartburn? Or can you eat whatever you want and not suffer from heartburn, as long as you sleep with your head elevated and you keep those extra pounds off? Please take a moment to share your answer in the poll below.

(1) Omar says:

Yes, I have heartburn or GERD, whichever you prefer. HOWEVER, it is quite insignificant now. I drink 10 mighty-mouse sized cups a day, and my custom was to make 1 potfull per day, and change the filter only when it was full. I decided to try something different: a new filter every day! And, I split the make into 2 pots per day: 5 mighty-mouse sized cups each pot. WHAMMO - NO MORE HEARTBURN, NO MORE GERD. For the record, I use standard caffeinated coffee: Chase&Sanborn, MaxwellHouse, Folger’s - whatever is on sale. NO GERD!!! PTLA
