In the middle of September, 2003, Prilosec became available in an over-the-version as Prilosec OTC, and since then some insurance companies no longer pay for the prescription form of Prilosec, or any of it's counterparts, such as Nexium or Prevacid. What has been your experience? Do you take an over-the-counter remedy for your acid reflux because your insurance won't pay for a prescription? Take this poll and let us know.
