"I was wondering if anyone knows of a natural remedy to help actually heal the esophagus from heartburn damage. I have never had an upper G.I. series so I don't know if I even have damage but I've had heartburn off and on for about 4 years. My Dr. had given me an Rx for Nexium but I cannot take it since I am trying to get pregnant. By the way, I am taking digestive enzymes because I read that people with heartburn often have a deficiency in them and it has helped greatly! It is 1,400 mg of pancreatin."
